Connecting People and Opportunities
So it all started when I left my current employer for another. I realized that being a
high potential and high performer at one company may or may not roll over to my next
opportunity. My network of human resource (HR) professionals and executives did not
extend beyond the walls of my current job. (Really, I had no need for an extended
network. I loved my company and the HR department).

Reality set in. My professional network was average at best. So, I invited a few of my
colleagues to network face to face. This helped me keep my friendship, best practices
and profession alive. The rules were simple 1) no agenda; 2) no speaker (more time for
sharing & networking); no sales (just networking). We are not exclusive … we love all
HR professionals (generalist, recruiters, benefits, compensation, etc.) and those who
support the HR professional.

When attendance grew to over 200 professional, 530 Inc. was officially founded! For
us, the founders, it's about advancing the profession one person at a time.It is also
about staying connected to the community & giving back. 530 Inc wishes you personal
